For those of you following our transition to the all-new Merge 3D platform, we have another new layer of interaction to share that feels like magic: Anaglyph 3D Mode.
By pairing the Merge 3D web platform with a pair of affordable paper 3D glasses, you can turn any standard device screen into a true 3D viewer.
Anaglyph 3D mode provides a new way for students to see depth and volume without expensive hardware. When students put on the glasses, 3D objects literally pop out of the screen. This enhanced visualization helps students understand complex structures—from the layers of the Earth to the intricate details of historical artifacts.

Students and teachers can also add anaglyph 3D mode to their own objects – whether created with Merge or imported from a 3rd party tool. It’s a low-cost, high-impact way to add another layer of interaction, engagement and fun to the learning and creating experience!
